Hello everyone!
I am happy to release version v0.7.2 today. In this release the app dasboard (portal/homepage) got many improvements, also many small quality features where added.
Changes
Extending App Dashboard (Portal)
From now you can theme your App Dashboard (Libre Workspace Portal), change colors and the branding.
Just a small test
The new settings for the appearence.
At the moment of time only the start page got themed. In the management section of libre workspace portal the theming get’s disabled. This is because every single view (page) has to get these new branding features from the app dashboard section. But in the long run also the “backend” of the portal will also get the theming support.
Also you are now able to hide some cards from unauthorized users or from users which are not in a specific group. So it is now able to hide some cards from the publicity or specific user groups.
Other Changes
- Old automatic cards of the app dashboard are now removed.
- The handling of system entries (cards) is now improved and more flexible for your needs.
- unzip is now installed by default for addon installation
- a robots.txt file is now added. Your Libre Workspace Portal Instances are no longer shown in search engines.
- added an extra line for additional borg backup options (Backup Settings)
- Error logging for php is now enabled by default on fresh nextcloud installations
- If a user get’s marked as an administrator, it will be also administrator in nextcloud. This takes multiple minutes until nextcloud get’s this change.
- The “administrator” user cannot get disabled anymore.
- New users without any display name get now the username as an displayname by default. This is important for nextcloud ldap synchronisation.
- Bindfs mappings are no longer shown in system management page
- The dns server of samba will now longer throw error messages about “dns forwarder resolve only”. New public instances will now close their port 53 (DNS-Server).
- Fixed system update log display error in the system management window

Update
You can easily update Libre Workspace via the system management view, when you are logged in as an admin.
