Hello Guys, Jean and Twitch chatters,
I’m currently installing Libre-Workspace on a new, powerful server. The first step in the installation wizard is to select the language. I chose German here, but the interface in the installation wizard/setup is still set to English.
I’m not sure if the language is set permanently after installation; I’ll update this post if necessary. If the language change only takes effect after a restart, is that intended, or is it a minor bug—either in the .po file or on the portal side (Pico-CSS; I’m not entirely sure about that either)?
Libre-Workspace was installed on a current Debian 13.4 image (from Netcup) following the instructions from.
Server: 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM, 12 CPU Cores.
UPDATE: Even after successfully installing the Libre-Workspace, the language is still set to English, even though it’s supposed to be in German. (My browser’s language setting: German). I think this could make administration difficult for beginners who don’t speak English. English isn’t a problem for me, but it might be for some users.
Kind regarts
Niklas
